Recollection

Recollection is a quietly expressive abstract painting, with scattered marks of ochre, charcoal, muted plum, and pale yellow emerging from a soft cream and grey ground. Fine, layered textures weave across the surface, suggesting fragments of memory that appear, fade, and return. Its spacious composition invites a slower look, revealing subtle shifts in colour and rhythm.

Painted in acrylic on canvas and measuring 36 × 48 inches, Recollection brings a sense of calm and depth to a room, offering a substantial focal point without overwhelming the space.
